Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS)
The EAS system helps prevent retail shoplifting. After EAS system is installed, it will form a deterrent to criminals who attempt to enter the store. The important thing is that they will not affect normal shopping customers. Installing EAS system can provide the store with the greatest degree of product protection and provide customers with a good shopping experience.
How the EAS system works?
Commodities will be attached with hard tags or soft labels. When these unpaid commodities are brought into the area monitored by detection antennas, the EAS system will detect the tag/label then emit a harsh sound and flashing light alarms to warn that there may shoplifting are acting . Usually the EAS system uses AM (acousto-magnetic) and RF (radio frequency) technology.
